Two Story Coffeehouse exists to provide the Athens community with a comfortable place to enjoy a great cup of coffee in a unique coffeehouse experience. Our beautiful historic house in Five Points provides two different stories to fit the needs of each individual who is welcomed through our doors.
The first story provides an environment perfect for enjoying community and conversation. With our large coffee bar, comfortable seating, and spacious porches, you will find the perfect place to catch up with a friend or share a random moment with someone new.
The second story creates an ideal environment for anyone looking for a quiet place to read or study. There you will find three rooms that are all dedicated to making it easy to concentrate and be productive- no matter what the task. At Two Story Coffeehouse you will find more than just great coffee and excellent service, you will find a unique environment and authentic people who are truly interested in your Story.

The Best Cup of Coffee In Town!
We truly do coffee differently here.
We have selected our coffees and our brew methods
with the purpose of doing coffee excellently and uniquely. It is
our belief that each cup of coffee is different and that coffee is
often the center of a community experience. However, this community
doesn't start with the cup of coffee, it starts with the actual
bean, which is why we have chosen 1000 Faces Coffee to be our
roaster. 1000 Faces Coffee is an organization that is
committed to the fair- and direct-trade model, as well as
environmentally sustainable practices that support the cultures and
communities where the coffee is grown.
When you walk into Two Story, you will notice two ways that we brew coffee.
Our signature brew, the manual pour-over, puts the control of the brew into the hands of the Barista as opposed to a machine. By individually brewing each cup of coffee we ensure the freshest cup. Not only does this produce a great, fresh-tasting cup of coffee, but it also gives you the opportunity to get to know your Barista as you watch your coffee drip. It's time to slow down and smell the coffee...
In addition to the manual pour-over, we also offer coffee brewed by French Press. Pressed coffee produces a distinct cup by pulling
different nuances of the coffee to the front of the taste palette.
Moreover, the French Press experience is hard to match. Our Coffee on the Fly is pressed daily. Enjoy a personal press all to yourself or join a group of friends and share a large press while you take pleasure in conversation and
the company of one another at one of our round tables.
Whether you choose to enjoy a world coffee, our traditional cappuccino, or any of our Espresso drinks, we believe that you will get the best cup of coffee in town every time.
Room Reservation Requests
Two Story Coffeehouse is pleased to offer a few meeting spaces to our customers for meetings, workshops, or other events. All spaces must be reserved 48 hours in advance as well as any large quantity food or drink orders placed. A fee of $25 an hour will be charged for all room reservations.
Nonprofit and community groups may reserve space for two hours or less without paying the reservation fee, however will be required to purchase one airpot of coffee for their meeting or event.
No reservations may be made over the phone or by email. If you are interested in reserving space at Two Story Coffeehouse, fill out the form below and submit to a Two Story staff member. You will then be contacted by a manager to confirm your reservation. .
Community Involvement
Two Story values our
Athens community and we are dedicated to doing our part to make
this a wonderful place for us all to live. We believe
that it is important for us, as a local business, to be
involved in supporting local organizations. If you have
a request for a monetary or in-kind donation,
submit a written proposal including
an explanation of your mission and a detailed
description of what you are requesting and why to any staff
member at the coffeehouse. Electronic submissions
will not be considered. Proposals will be reviewed
by the management team on the first Tuesday of every month
and responses will be given by the end of that week.

We pride ourselves
in the knowledge, expertise and skill of our Baristas. They are
truly craftsmen who are mastering the art of making
good coffee- the way it was meant to be made. If you
have a passion for coffee, a willingness to serve, and the
drive to work hard, we would love to consider you for a
position at Two Story. Baristas must be willing to work
